- Subscription details: your membership level and payment history. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
- Sign-in records: the time, IP address and browser type each time you sign in. We keep these for 30 days to keep accounts secure and spot shared logins.
- Emails: messages you send us.
Why we use it
- To provide your subscription, take payments and send you each day’s edition (to perform our contract with you).
- To protect accounts and prevent login sharing (our legitimate interest in protecting the service).
- To keep financial records (a legal obligation).
- To send news about The Prep Feed, only if you’ve agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the providers we need to run the service: Stripe (payments), [hosting provider] (website hosting), and [email provider] (sending emails). They process data on our behalf under contract. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Account details for as long as you’re a member and up to 12 months after, sign-in records for 30 days, and payment records for 6 years for tax purposes.
